PHO was created after COVID 19 as a venue to support and showcase Duchy Opera, and to share our love of Opera with a wider Cornish Audience. Each year we make a fixed donation to Duchy Opera Trust and underwrite the event personally. Ticket sales and sponsorship have broadly covered our annual costs over the years, but the capital and infrastructure costs such as the Orchestra tent and hospitality marquee come out of our own pocket.
